Jolene & Jacob's Rustic Romantic Wedding

Jolene and Jacob's romantic rustic wedding was one for the books. From our very first meeting, they told us their focus and intention behind having a wedding was so they could celebrate their families blending together. Both having kids from a previous relationship, they wanted to make sure their wedding focused on the joining of their family and incorporated the kids in everyway possible. They made intentional choices to signify the mixing of their families such as ringing the infamous bell at The Allen Farmhaus as one unit, a tradition for couples to do after they have said their I do's and have walked back down the aisle.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Huereca focused on creating a fun and lively atmosphere for their kids

and their guests and opted for a simple, romantic, elegant approach to their decor. Letting the venue's rustic atmosphere speak for itself, Jolene and Jacob opted for a soft blue and white color palette. Complete with cheesecloth table runners, gold pearl rimmed chargers, bud vases, votives and candle sticks in various heights it created a cozy atmosphere for their reception.

With their children at the forefront of their minds, they threw typical wedding traditions out the window and opted for fun, kid-friendly ways to reflect their family. In lieu of traditional father-daughter and mother-son dances, the couple opted to dance together with their kids in one big epic dance party. Additionally, they opted out of the big grand wedding cake and kept it simple with a one tier cake and a bunch of kid friendly cake pops and cupcakes.

Their wedding contained many show stopping moments as most do, however one of the most notable is Jolene's outfit change to her reception dress where she switched into the cutest little white dress paired with cowboy boots for a western flair.

All in all, Jolene and Jacob's wedding day was a beautiful celebration of two families becoming one. It was an absolute honor to have helped these two enjoy their perfect day.
